Even though the socket and heatspreader have increased in size compared to the predecessor, the CPU-die surface has been reduced and remains centred. The Freezer i13 X series rests here with its Direct Touch heat pipes and covers this area completely. SMALL FOOTPRINT FOR OPTIMAL COMPATIBILLITY The Freezer i13 X combines a compact advanced heat sink design with 3 direct touch heat pipes. In combination with the fan designed for static pressure, an optimal cooling performance is achieved despite the comparatively small dimensions.
